New GA4GH Deliverables
Open for Public Comment

As a community, GA4GH aims to develop new standards, tools, and frameworks to enable data sharing and accelerate scientific discoveries. The following GA4GH deliverable is now open for public comment.

The GA4GH Regulatory and Ethics Work Stream has created a document highlighting the implications of genetic discrimination (GD) on data sharing. The document provides an overview of the current state of GD related research and law and addresses key considerations when informing participants about GD.

Please review the information document and submit comments by August 31st, 2021 at 5pm UTC. 

The Data Access Committee Review Standards policy seeks to complement the ongoing work in GA4GH’s Regulatory and Ethics and Data Use & Researcher Identities Work Streams. The policy aims to outline guiding principles and provide procedural standards for Data Access Committees.
