The GA4GH Pedigree Standard

is now open for public comment

The GA4GH Clinical and Phenotypic Data Capture Work Stream has developed the GA4GH Pedigree Standard, which allows for the computable exchange of family health history as well as representation of larger, more complex families. Core to this standard is a conceptual model, which defines three classes—the individual, the individual's relationship to a relative, and a system of relationships—and their properties. Please provide feedback by making a GitHub issue here.
