The charityProgress Educational Trust (PET) commissioned a survey to conduct a nationally representative survey of the UK public. The goal was to measure people’s understanding of, and attitudes towards, areas of science and medicine, including genetics and genomics. The Public Attitudes for Genomic Policy group of the GA4GH Regulatory & Ethics Work Stream (REWS) discusses the survey findings in a brief.
We want a talented person to lead our Wellcome Genome Campus staff developers. You will coordinate and drive development work contributing to the creation, implementation, and adoption of open-source technical standards for genomic data sharing alongside colleagues in our distributed staff team and members of the wider GA4GH community.
In addition to supporting the assigned Work Streams, you will represent GA4GH at the national and international level. You will play a critical role in setting the goals and priorities of these groups, as well as the GA4GH Executive and Steering Committee.
