In 2020, the Global Alliance for Genomics & Health launched GA4GH Inc, a not-for-profit organization incorporated under the federal laws of Canada. This legal entity serves as a keystone for the Global Alliance, working alongside existing organizational structures such as the Standards Steering Committee (SSC), the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB), funders, and Host Institutions, which have supported the organization since its inception in 2013. GA4GH Inc. assumes certain functions previously undertaken by the Global Alliance and its Host Institutions and takes on new functions, including the custody of intellectual property and monetary assets.
We are seeking additional members from our community to serve as Directors starting May 2022. The Board of Directors will work collaboratively to provide strategic leadership and governance for GA4GH Inc.
